A quick note to once again thank you for the installation of our tankless water heater. I’ve taken a look at our gas bills compared to last year and the savings are impressive.
I worked out that we’re paying about $11 less in gas charges per month with the tankless. Also the tranportation and delivery charges on the enbridge bill are based on the gas supply charge- so we’re probably saving about the same amount in those fees. Overall this is less than a third of what we were paying with the tank. And we have 2 more kids and a tenant than we did then. Soooo- I don’t know- I bet you could say 1/5 or 1/6. I thought my stats would be better than that, lol. So much has changed I guess. We use ALOT of hot water now (laundry on warm/hot, dishwasher run daily, 5 people in the house), and we used much less then (all laundry in cold, dishwasher every 2 days, only 2 people showering/bathing…)
